Install guide

Two minutes now, zero hassle when you land.

Install on Wi-Fi before your trip. The one counterintuitive step: travel eSIMs need Data Roaming turned on to connect — it's how they work, and no roaming fees apply.

    Open your delivery email

    On the phone you're installing on, tap the Install on iPhone button (iOS 17.4+). Older iOS: Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM → Use QR Code, and scan the QR from another screen.

    Confirm activation

    Tap Continue through the prompts. Label the new line something memorable — “Wayfarro Japan”, say.

    Before you fly

    Keep the eSIM off, or leave it on — either is fine. Your plan only starts when it first connects abroad.

    When you land

    Settings → Cellular → tap your Wayfarro line → turn on this line and Data Roaming. Set it as your Cellular Data line. Keep your personal SIM active for calls/texts if you like.

Type your phone model — e.g. “iPhone 13” or “Pixel 8”.
